The individual in this position is responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere in the medical office and operates under the direct clinical supervision of the physician during patient interactions. The Medical Assistant will also communicate administrative and operational matters to the office coordinator or shift supervisor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service to patients both in person and over the phone.
  • Collaborate effectively with all service staff to support direct patient care.
  • Exhibit flexibility and maintain a positive, proactive attitude.
  • Uphold the core values and mission of the organization while ensuring discretion and professionalism in all interactions.

Compensation:

$30.10 per hour

Qualifications:

  1. A high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
  2. Completion of a Medical Assistant program or a minimum of two years of relevant experience is required.
  3. Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) is essential.
  4. Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
  5. Attention to detail, multitasking abilities, and adaptability are crucial.
  6. Proficiency in medical systems and strong computer skills are required.
  7. Ability to operate standard office equipment such as fax machines and copiers is needed.
  8. Familiarity with medical terminology is a must.
  9. Excellent organizational, planning, and independent working skills are required.
