Clinical Language Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Speech Pathologist to join our team at Methodist Hospitals. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in evaluating and treating patients with cognitive, language disorders, swallowing problems, and oral motor disorders.
The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Speech Pathology and be licensed to practice in their state. You will possess excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively with patients of all ages, and have knowledge of growth and development principles.
This is a full-time position with an estimated salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate patients' cognitive, communication, and swallowing skills to develop effective treatment plans.
- Design and execute treatment plans based on assessment findings.
- Document assessments and interventions accurately and timely.
- Educate patients and families about their conditions and provide guidance on how to achieve independence.
- Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings and case reviews to ensure optimal patient care.
