Job Title: Cosmetology Teacher

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly qualified Cosmetology Teacher to join our team at La Joya ISD. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in the cosmetology program, ensuring they receive a high-quality education and develop the skills necessary to succeed in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Provide individualized instruction and support to students
  • Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices

Requirements:

  • 3 years of experience as a licensed cosmetologist
  • Current cosmetology instructor's license issued by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulations
  • Valid Texas teaching certificate in Trade and Industrial Education

Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, interacting with students, colleagues, and administrators. The position requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
