We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Cashier to join our team at ABM Industries. As a Lead Cashier, you will be responsible for overseeing the cash handling process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all transactions, and providing exceptional customer service to our patrons.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee cashiers to ensure work is completed accurately and efficiently
  • Accept accountability for cash transactions and ensure all transactions are accounted for correctly
  • Train new associates on Point of Sale (POS) systems and ensure they are equipped to handle cash transactions
  • Count down cash drawers with previous shift lead present to ensure accurate counts and reporting
  • Check in with cashiers regularly to ensure they have the necessary supplies and paperwork to complete their duties
  • Provide customer service and information to patrons, and prepare for the next shift by conducting money audits, supply checks, and verifying necessary paperwork
Requirements
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • No high school diploma, GED, or college degree required
  • No experience required, with on-the-job training provided
  • One year of prior customer service or similar experience preferred
