Job Title: Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team at Soar Autism Center. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping children with autism reach their full potential.

About the Role:

As an Occupational Therapist at Soar Autism Center, you will be responsible for implementing naturalistic occupational therapy for children aged 2-6 years in a center-based setting. You will work closely with families to develop individualized therapy plans, setting ambitious goals that empower children to reach their full potential.

Responsibilities:
  • Implement naturalistic occupational therapy for children aged 2-6 years in a center-based setting
  • Develop individualized therapy plans in collaboration with families and other clinical areas
  • Mentor and guide a team of Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to integrate OT goals into their therapy
  • Monitor the progress of clients, update treatment plans and goals, and communicate necessary adjustments to team members and families
  • Collaborate closely with families of children with autism, setting goals, building relationships, sharing progress, and providing coaching and support on their journey
Qualifications:
  • A degree in Occupational Therapy with a focus on pediatrics or a similar field
  • Current licensure as a Occupational Therapist
  • Experience in working with children with autism or related developmental disorders
  • Strong understanding of and commitment to early intervention and integrated care approaches
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with a passion for supporting the growth and development of children with autism
