Senior Electrical Design Engineer, High Speed Digital Specialist

Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join our team in Long Beach. As a key member of our Avionics Hardware Engineering team, you will play a crucial role in the development of hardware systems for our space stations.
Responsibilities- Design, analyze, model, simulate, and characterize high-speed digital circuits
- Collaborate with a multi-functional engineering team to develop and integrate hardware, software, and network technology
- Establish product objectives, specifications, and technical solutions to ensure products meet customer requirements and deliverables
- Contribute to all aspects of the product life cycle, from concept to delivery and maintenance
- Work effectively across multiple corporate functions, including business, engineering, operations, and manufacturing
- Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or a related engineering discipline
- 5+ years of experience with digital and microelectronic hardware design, development, test, and verification
- 5+ years of experience working with a production facility to ensure hardware is manufacturable and reproducible
- Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline
- Experience with PCBA design and Altium or similar software
- Experience with DDR, NVMe, NORFlash, and other high-density memory products
- Experience with Gigabit+ networking components (switches, phys, etc.)
- Previously qualified hardware for harsh environments (Space, Aircraft, Autonomous Vehicles, Military, etc.)
