Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team at Mass General Brigham. As a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for collecting blood samples from patients and transporting them to the laboratory for testing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect blood samples from patients using venipuncture and skin puncture techniques
  • Maintain accurate records of patient information and specimen collection
  • Transport specimens to the laboratory in a timely manner
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients and staff
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain certification and stay up-to-date on phlebotomy techniques
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Graduate of a training program that includes phlebotomy skills, such as MA, Phlebotomist, EMT, or CNA
  • 1 year of work experience and national certification in phlebotomy preferred
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
  • Manual dexterity and visual acuity required
Working Conditions
