Responsibilities- Perform comprehensive health assessments, including medical history, physical examination, and diagnostic testing.
- Develop and implement treatment plans, including medication orders and follow-up care.
- Provide preventive care, including health education and guidance on healthy habits and family planning.
- Manage common acute and chronic illnesses, and initiate life-saving procedures in emergencies.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical knowledge and best practices through ongoing education and training.
- Board certification in family medicine or a related field.
- Current medical license to practice in California, including DEA license and CPR certification.
- Previous experience in a community health setting, preferably with a multicultural patient population.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, staff, and other healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to quality patient care and customer service.
