Job Summary

As a skilled trade professional with management expertise, you will oversee internal teams and external clients to deliver high-quality projects within time and budget constraints. This role requires hands-on experience in the trade and strong leadership skills to coordinate and supervise trade-specific crews, manage project safety, and ensure compliance with relevant codes and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise trade-specific crew leaders, journeymen, and apprentices
  • Coordinate with project managers on project needs and requirements
  • Manage site safety programs, evaluating work sites and workers for safe work practices
  • Communicate project status, changes, and needs to project managers
  • Lead and train crews in planning, layout, material management, and technical project information
  • Take-off, order, and schedule delivery of materials
  • Pre-plan job requirements with project managers, general superintendents, purchasing, fabrication shops, and construction supervisors
  • Participate in the MTech University education process by teaching and/or preparing classes
  • Manage material storage, staging, delivery, and security
  • Provide and schedule delivery of tools necessary to perform work
  • Responsible for monthly tracking of company assets and submitting tool reports
Requirements
  • High school graduate/GED with appropriate 4-year apprenticeship certificate
  • A minimum of 4 years of field experience
  • Working knowledge of all relevant national and local codes and company and industry standards
  • Must possess and maintain licenses required in jurisdictions worked
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills and experience required
  • Proven abilities in pipefitting, plumbing, and/or sheet metal, service or system functionality experience required
