Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled High-Performance Signal Processing Engineer to join our team in Ann Arbor, Michigan or Beavercreek, Ohio.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on state-of-the-art research and development problems, applying software and signal processing skills to drive innovation and collaboration.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting existing research programs, conducting applied research, software development, and transitioning new and innovative solutions to address difficult surveillance problems in the defense and intelligence communities.

This role requires strong technical leadership skills, with the ability to rapidly and iteratively implement new algorithms using Python, MATLAB, C++, and other languages for real-world applications.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree with 2+ years or Master's degree with experience in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Applied Mathematics, as well as strong programming ability in Python, C/C++, and Java for Linux environments.

A SECRET clearance or higher, with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance, is required. US Citizenship is also mandatory.

The salary for this position is estimated to be between $67,600 and $122,200 per year, based on location and experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Working with teams on the research, design, and development of sensor exploitation systems including signal processing, automatic target recognition, fusion, and performance modeling.
  • Collaborating with customers to address challenging mission requirements by researching and developing new capabilities as well as making improvements to existing systems.
  • Rapidly and iteratively implementing new algorithms to address these challenges.
  • Developing algorithms using Python, MATLAB, C++, and other languages for real-world applications.
  • Providing technical leadership for tasks and programs.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree with 2+ years or Master's degree with experience in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Applied Mathematics.
  • Strong programming ability in Python, C/C++, and Java for Linux environments.
  • Knowledge of code configuration control.
  • Ability to effectively communicate technical solutions to coworkers, teammates, and customers.
  • Active SECRET clearance or higher, with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance.
  • US Citizenship.
