About the Role

At AGILE Space Industries, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Assembly Technician to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of our products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect incoming parts, in-process production, and shipped products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Measure parts using standard inspection equipment and record observations.
  • Make recommendations for improving processes and ensure product compliance documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Apply, revise, and maintain quality standards for receiving, in-process, and final inspection.
  • Collaborate with the team to troubleshoot faulty mechanical assemblies and electrical issues.
  • Develop and maintain inspection work instructions and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Ensure conformance to quality standards, such as ISO 9000, AS9100, and J-STD.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent and typically 10 or more years of relevant experience in aerospace, defense, or internal combustion engines.
  • Excellent team player with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequently changing dynamics.
  • Personal commitment to attention to detail and delivering conforming products to our customers.
  • Experience with finished goods inspection using measurement equipment and knowledge of technical schematics and drawings.
  • Ability to work with multiple deadlines and commitments with limited or no supervision.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • US Citizenship, Permanent Residency, Refugee, or Asylum Status.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance.
  • Previous use of and understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) or a willingness to learn.
