Job Overview

Amergis is seeking highly motivated and experienced Behavioral Therapists to join our team. As a Registered/Certified Behavior Technician, you will work closely with children and adults with special needs, providing educational and behavioral services in a collaborative environment.

About the Role

This position involves implementing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapeutic services, collaborating with school professionals and other behavioral specialists to achieve learning and behavioral goals. Our ideal candidate has a strong background in behavior analysis, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement ABA therapeutic services to meet individualized client needs
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Provide direct support to clients with special needs, promoting positive behavior change and skill development
Requirements
  1. Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification or State Certified Behavior Technician (CBT) license
  2. High School diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in behavioral studies or related field preferred
  3. Two years of relevant experience preferred; one year pediatric experience preferred
  4. CPR certification and TB questionnaire or PPD required
  5. Must meet federal, state, and local requirements; at least 18 years of age
