Job Title: Bellman

As a Bellman at Wyndham Deerfield Beach Resort, you will be the face of our hotel, providing a warm and friendly welcome to all our guests. Your role will be to ensure that every guest feels safe, secure, and well taken care of during their stay with us.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet guests in a friendly and courteous manner, making them feel welcome and at ease.
  • Offer assistance with luggage and transportation needs, ensuring that guests' belongings are handled with care.
  • Provide directions and information on local attractions, helping guests to make the most of their stay.
  • Open and close doors for guests, and operate the elevator, ensuring that guests have a smooth and hassle-free experience.
  • Assist guests with their check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring that everything runs smoothly and efficiently.
  • Maintain a neat and orderly work area, and handle luggage and packages with care.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and other staff as needed, to ensure that guests' needs are met.
  • Respond to guest inquiries and requests, providing a high level of customer service at all times.
  • Follow all safety and security protocols, ensuring that guests and staff are safe and secure.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the lobby area, ensuring that it is always tidy and welcoming.
  • Provide exemplary customer service at all times, going above and beyond to ensure that guests have an exceptional experience.
Requirements:
  • Ability to handle luggage and other items in a safe manner.
  • Ability to operate a bell cart.
  • Ability to communicate with guests and hotel staff in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Knowledge of hotel policies and procedures.
  • Ability to read, write and understand English.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to provide directions to guests.
  • Ability to provide information on local attractions and services.
  • Ability to resolve guest complaints in a timely manner.
  • Ability to handle cash and other forms of payment accurately.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of local area and attractions.
