Key Responsibilities

  • Lab Facilities Design: Assist in designing lab facilities.
  • Expertise and Authority: Be consulted extensively by associates and others as a recognized authority within the field.

  • Approach to Problem-Solving: Approach to problem-solving balances technical product, cost, and schedule.

Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or technical related curriculum applicable to the respective job position required.
  • Experience: 5 years in aircraft avionics & electrical power systems.
  • Experience Credit: Experience credit considered for related advanced degrees limited to 2 years for Masters and 4 years for PhD in fields applicable to this job.
  • Avionics and Electronic Systems Development: Avionics and/or Electronic Systems development and integration experience is required.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with A429, A664, A717, CANBUS, LVDT/RVDT, analog to digital conversions required.
  • FAA or EASA Certification: Experience with the FAA (14 CFR Part 25) or EASA (CS-25) certification is preferred.
  • System Integration Lab and Aircraft Functional Testing: System integration lab and/or aircraft functional testing and troubleshooting experience is preferred.
  • Requirements Management Tools: Experience with requirements management tools is preferred.
