Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Technician to join our team at iGov. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling equipment systems, verifying inventory, and performing quality checks to ensure high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble equipment systems using approved processes and procedures.
  • Verify inventory of components and materials prior to assembly.
  • Perform quality checks on completed systems to ensure compliance with build procedures.
  • Conduct functional testing of completed equipment systems to ensure proper performance.
  • Inventory final product using system of record inventory reports.
  • Assist in transfer of completed products to Logistics for delivery/disposition.
  • Inform Production Manager when bench stock items are running low.
  • Keep work area clean, organized, and safe.
  • Assist in updating production documentation when necessary.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in production/assembly of equipment systems.
  • Mechanical skills - knowledge of and capability to use hand tools and equipment.
  • Good written, verbal, and interpersonal communications skills.
  • Good problem-solving ability and able to perform basic math calculations.
  • Detail-oriented; focus on high level of quality.
  • Ability to multitask and keep pace with production schedule.
  • Able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Effectively use the Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Technical/Mechanical certifications are considered a plus.
  • Metal Fabrication skills are a plus.
  • Radio and Communication equipment skills are a plus.
