Dental Hygienist

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our team at Aesthetic & Family Dentistry of North Bethesda. As a critical member of our team, you will provide quality care to our patients and possess a passion for keeping them healthy and happy.
We are looking for a Dental Hygienist who has a strong desire to treat and educate our patients while growing and developing their career in a state-of-the-art office. Our team takes great pride in our work and how we treat our patients, and we offer a welcoming and supportive work environment.
Responsibilities- Assess dental condition and needs of patient using appropriate screening procedures, including medical history review and dental charting
- Perform routine treatment procedures, such as cleaning and polishing
- Take radiographs
- Apply sealants and fluorides
- Help manage patient records, including obtaining dental records, questioning patients about their medical history, and recording the information for the dentist's reference
- Advise patients on dental care and helps make patients feel comfortable before, during, and after dental treatment
- Attend all staff meetings, trainings, and educational classes as required
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Current license or certification to practice in this state
- Highly professional and dependable
- Pleasant/friendly demeanor and an outgoing personality
- Communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients, staff, vendors, and others
- Experience with dental practice management software a plus
- Current CPR certification a plus
