Warehouse Associate Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team at AutoZone. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of inventory and orders.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform various warehouse duties, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping of products
  • Operate warehouse equipment safely, such as forklifts, reach lifts, and pallet jacks
  • Fabricate and build crates for shipping purposes
  • Load and unload trucks using proper lifting techniques for heavy items
  • Maintain inventory accuracy by conducting regular cycle counts and reconciling discrepancies
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements:
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems, such as Voxware
  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment and machinery safely and efficiently
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate order fulfillment and inventory management
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks safely
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members and follow instructions
