Job Overview

Mendocino Community Health Center is seeking a Registered Dietitian to join our team and help build a new dietitian department from the ground up.

Job Description

In this role, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by developing personalized dietary programs, offering counseling, and providing specialized support for conditions such as diabetes, obesity, pregnancy, and kidney disease.

  • Develops and implements culturally sensitive programs of instruction in diet therapy, nutrition, and diet counseling techniques for MCHC staff.
  • Teaches and counsels patients of various demographic groups to select and/or prepare and use the foods that will best nourish their bodies.
  • Provides specialized education to patients with diabetes, obesity, pregnancy, kidney disease, etc.
Salary and Benefits

$61,006 to $115,648 Annually, DOE. Benefits include Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance, Paid Time Off, Life Insurance, 401k Match, Flexible Spending Account, and more.
