VNS Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to fill the role of Clinical Supervisor, Hospice Intake. This position is responsible for overseeing and supervising all aspects of the Hospice Liaison Intake process, ensuring that care is provided within the standards of practice for all clinical disciplines.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist administration in ensuring full regulatory compliance with Hospice Conditions of Participation, standards of practice, and contractual services.
- Collaborate with Quality Improvement/Education to develop and implement quality improvement and educational activities to ensure professional practice standards are consistently met.
- Communicate effectively with VNS Health Care management and hospice agencies under contractual relationship with VNSNY Hospice Care.
- Serve as an effective member of the clinical team, demonstrating teamwork, effective supervision, and collaboration at all times.
- Perform all duties inherent in a supervisory role, including staff training, interviewing candidates, evaluating staff performance, and recommending hiring, promotions, and terminations.
- Minimum of three years of progressive clinical experience in home care, Hospice, or related field.
- Demonstrated knowledge of regulatory and reimbursement requirements governing Hospice.
- Prior experience managing multiple teams/staff located in multiple locations.
