Job Title: ICU/HAU Registered Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate ICU/HAU Registered Nurse to join our team at Kindred Hospitals. As a critical care nurse, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care to critically ill patients.

Job Summary:

The ICU/HAU Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing quality patient care to critically ill patients through the nursing process of Assessment, Planning, Intervention, and Evaluation. You will serve as a patient advocate at all times, supervising the nursing care provided to each patient by other caregivers.

Responsibilities:
  • Develops and implements individualized patient care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
  • Provides direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring patient vital signs.
  • Collaborates with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Participates in discharge planning and ensures a smooth transition of care for patients.
  • Maintains accurate and detailed patient records, including admission assessments, reassessments, and care plans.
Requirements:
  • Graduate from an accredited Registered Nursing program.
  • Current state licensure as Registered Nurse.
  • BCLS certification and ACLS required.
  • Minimum one year training and experience in Critical Care.
