Pharmacy Manager

Job Summary:

As a Pharmacy Manager at Walgreens, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and driving business growth. You will be responsible for leading a team of pharmacists and technicians to deliver high-quality pharmacy services, including medication management, immunizations, and health screenings. You will also be responsible for managing the pharmacy's operations, including inventory management, staffing, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of pharmacists and technicians to deliver high-quality pharmacy services
• Manage the pharmacy's operations, including inventory management, staffing, and customer service
• Develop and implement strategies to drive business growth and improve patient outcomes
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and community organizations to promote health and wellness initiatives
• Stay up-to-date with regulatory requirements and industry developments to ensure compliance and best practices

Requirements:

• BS in Pharmacy or Pharm D Degree from an accredited educational institution
• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire
• At least 1 year pharmacy experience, including prescription filling, recordkeeping, legal compliance, pharmacy operations, pharmacy software and technology systems, and insurance billing

Preferred Qualifications:

• Supervisory experience planning, organizing, and directing the work of pharmacy staff
• At least 6 months pharmacy experience with Walgreen Co.
