Healthcare Support Specialist

The Patient Care Associate (PCA) plays a vital role in this mission. As a PCA, you will assist under the direction of the RN or LPN in providing individualized care to patients.
This includes performing designated clinical procedures and non-clinical support tasks essential to delivering high-quality patient care.
As a PCA at Mercy, you will work cooperatively with others as part of a team to recognize the importance of group goals.
To succeed in this role, you must possess excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
In addition, you must have the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis and stand for prolonged periods.
BLS certification is required within one month of hire, and completion of PCA competencies is necessary within three months of hire.

Our salary for this position is approximately $40,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
