Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Metal Fabrication Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess the necessary expertise in welding and fabrication processes to contribute effectively to our projects.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize MIG welding techniques to produce high-quality welds.
  • Adhere to both written and verbal instructions provided by the welding supervisor.
  • Execute functional and aesthetic welding beads on various components.
  • Weld fittings and other parts into fabricated steel structures.

Operational Duties:
  • Employ or request jigs as necessary before commencing welding tasks.
  • Operate robotic welding equipment as required.
  • Oversee inventory of welding supplies and notify the supervisor when restocking is needed.
  • Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to ensure safety while performing job duties.

Additional Responsibilities:
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
  • Ensure Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is in good condition.
  • Assist with other manufacturing tasks as directed by supervisors.

Requirements:
  • Safety steel-toe footwear is mandatory.
  • Non-prescription safety glasses are required (provided by the company).
  • Ability to read a tape measure and convert fractions to decimal measurements.
  • Capability to lift up to 70 lbs safely.
  • Willingness to stand for the majority of the workday.
