LPN-Clinic Medical Group Practice University Town Centre

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate LPN to join our medical group practice team at University Town Centre. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in an outpatient setting, working closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to patients, including administering medications, performing therapeutic procedures, and observing and recording patient data.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans, ensuring seamless communication and coordination of care.
- Utilize clinical judgment and critical thinking skills to identify and address patient concerns, symptoms, and reactions in a timely and effective manner.
- Participate in problem-solving and decision-making to ensure staffing and patient needs are met, promoting a positive and efficient work environment.
- Work closely with office staff and physicians to facilitate patient clinic visits, ensuring patient charts are available and patients are escorted to and from exam rooms as needed.
- Current licensure with the WV Board of Practical Nursing or appropriate state board, or current multi-state licensure through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC).
- Obtain certification in Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire date.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment, with high patient volume and exposure to bloodborne pathogens, bodily fluids, toxins, and chemicals.
The work environment is a standard clinical setting with a high volume of patients. The position is frequently exposed to bloodborne pathogens, bodily fluids, toxins, and chemicals.
