We are seeking a skilled licensed clinical psychologist to provide long-term coverage for federal detention centers south of Phoenix, AZ. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional to make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals in need of mental health services.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from a graduate program accredited by the American Psychological Association and an unrestricted Arizona license. A minimum of one year of independent level, psychological clinical practice experience is also required. Bi-lingual skills would be beneficial but not essential.

  • The successful candidate will have experience in providing direct mental services, including on-site counseling, individual and group psychotherapy within diverse therapeutic modalities, substance abuse education, and behavioral analysis for detainees identified with mental health and substance use problems.
  • They will also conduct specialized programming within a Modified Therapeutic Treatment Community model and consult medical, contract staff, and other healthcare professionals to conduct and provide education and training on continuity of care, treatment, monitoring, and management of patients with cooccurring diagnoses.
Compensation and Benefits
