Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical support to healthcare providers, including vital sign collection, electrocardiogram (EKG) testing, and laboratory procedures.
  • Assist with patient preparation for examinations and procedures, including preparing patient rooms and equipment.
  • Collect and process laboratory specimens, including urine, throat, vaginal, stool, and sputum samples.
  • Perform administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments, verifying patient demographics, and managing medical records.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements
  • High school graduate/GED/vocational training equivalency.
  • Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
  • Valid state/government issued identification.
  • Medical Assistant education in progress or certification.
  • 5+ years direct patient care in a clinical setting in emergency medicine, urgent care, primary care, or an ambulatory care setting as a Medical Assistant, certified Emergency Medical Technician, or Paramedic.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Current/Active and Unencumbered license/certification as a Certified Medical Assistant, Registered Medical Assistant, American Board of Radiology, or Paramedic.
  • Licensed Practical Nurse.
  • Nurse education in progress with completion of the first year/fundamentals of nursing, or equivalent, of an accredited nursing school.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $22.13-$24.09, depending on related experience and qualifications. This position will float between our clinics in the market, and the hours are Monday - Friday, 20-30 hours per week, with the possibility of varying according to business needs, projects, and deadlines.
