We're on a mission to make humanity a multi-planetary species, and we need talented individuals like you to help us achieve this goal. As a Production Supervisor, GS1, AFT Module Integration, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the success of our spaceflight systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the GS1 AFT Module Integration team, overseeing the development of resource plans, job descriptions, and performance reviews.
  • Interface with area leadership to prioritize work based on production schedules and organizational goals.
  • Ensure product quality and conformance to engineering specifications.
  • Develop and implement cost reduction processes and efficiency improvement measures.
  • Implement and refine new manufacturing processes.
  • Collaborate with engineering to document and standardize production processes.
  • Review work instructions and provide recommended changes where necessary.
  • Assure continued training and skills development to attract, develop, and retain great people.
  • Setup new production work areas, including layouts, tooling, and equipment setup.
  • Assist with transition from development to production by working alongside engineering to successfully transition the product.
  • Forecasting and developing recovery plans for constraints critical to vehicle delivery schedule.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement projects for area safety and efficiency.
Requirements:
  • Direct/Indirect leadership experience, working aerospace development programs or production lines.
  • Structure and Integration experience; fluids and tubing install, instrumentation and electrical cabling/harness routing, bracketry, avionics, general Aerospace/Launch vehicle assembly.
  • Ability to interpret engineering models, drawings, specifications, written work instructions, and test procedures.
  • Ability to work effectively with a strong work ethic and close attention to detail in a fast-paced dynamic team environment with rapidly changing roles and responsibilities.
  • Clarity of thought and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to set a high hiring bar while evaluating and hiring top talent.
  • Exceptional organizational and analytical skills and a proven ability to drive complex projects with minimal oversight.
  • Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion.
Desired Qualifications:
  • 3+ years in a direct/indirect supervision position, working on aerospace development programs or production lines.
  • Broad/deep scheduling and planning skillset.
  • Project planning and Integrated Master Schedules.
  • Proficiency with resource loaded schedules using Primavera (P6), Open Plan, MS Project, or other software.
  • Experienced in handling large aerospace components.
  • Experienced in a team-based Lean Manufacturing environment.
