Job Summary

We are seeking a Clinical Specialist to join our team in Huntington, WV. As a Clinical Specialist, you will provide services in residential, vocational, or in-home settings, providing invaluable support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized support plans that adhere to quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct assessments and observations to identify individual needs and develop behavior support plans.
  • Advocate for the human and civil rights of individuals receiving services.
  • Document progress and maintain accurate records.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Provide training and support to staff on behavior support plans and individualized support plans.
  • Assist individuals with daily living activities, such as personal care, housekeeping, and recreational activities.
  • Transport individuals to medical appointments and other community-based activities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a human services field.
  • Two years of related experience.
  • Training in behavior modification techniques and/or experience providing behavior management treatment.
  • Knowledge of specialized populations, such as individuals with developmental disabilities, brain injury, or mental health.
  • Reliable, responsible, and caring nature with ability to work well with others.

  • Current driver's license, car registration, and auto insurance (if providing transportation).
