Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Float Pool team at Allegheny General Hospital. As a Float Pool RN, you will provide care to patients across various units, utilizing your expertise and clinical judgment to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
  • Provide direct patient care, including medication administration, wound care, and vital sign monitoring
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient transitions and optimal care
  • Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment, promoting a culture of respect and open communication
Requirements
  • 3+ years of acute care experience in Med-Surg/Tele
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Pennsylvania or multi-state licensure through the eNLC
  • CPR certification and ACLS certification
  • Act 34, Act 33, and Act 73 clearances
