Mobile Cell Site Technician Opportunity at TEKsystems

TEKsystems is seeking skilled mobile cell site technicians who are prepared for extensive travel. In this role, you will be tasked with the installation of cell site power systems, laying down fiber optic cabling, and performing maintenance on generators, batteries, and rectifiers. This position requires full-time travel, primarily within designated regions. You should be ready for a combination of day and night shifts based on project needs.

Primary Duties:

  • Install and troubleshoot cell site network equipment utilizing testing tools and established protocols.

Essential Skills:

  • Low Voltage Systems, Electrical Work, Cat6 Cabling, Equipment Installation
  • Experience with Fiber Optics – Testing (OTDR), Installation, and Troubleshooting
  • Proficient in PC Operations - managing Provisioning Logs and Command Lines for fiber diagnostics
  • Experience with major carriers such as Verizon and Dish is preferred

Required Qualifications:

  • Mandatory: OSHA 10 Certification
  • Ability to work at elevated heights
  • Self-driven individuals with a strong commitment to work
  • Must possess personal tools necessary for the job
