Job Title: Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

At Equiliem Healthcare, we are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in Labor and Delivery. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support to expectant mothers and their families.

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate patients and assist physicians with patient care
  • Plan, implement, and document nursing care based on patient needs
  • Identify patient needs and determine priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation
  • Develop, implement, and coordinate individualized plans of care for patients assigned through initial and ongoing assessments
  • Initiate assessment based on the patient's problems or needs, the physician's medical diagnosis, and the functional health framework
  • Perform therapeutic nursing interventions
  • Manage care of patients
  • Document care based on standards of care and practice, patient acuity, and/or clinical priorities
  • Advocate for evidence-based practice care standards and support adoption of evidence-based practices and innovations in care delivery
  • Provide patient-centered care in alignment with professional nursing practice model
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery
  • Recent experience in Labor and Delivery
  • EPIC experience preferred
  • Either AWOHNN (intermediate or advanced) or NCC in electronic fetal monitoring
  • Client will accept candidate upon passing a basic fetal monitoring test during onboarding
  • At least 6 months of L & D travel nurse experience required, 1 year preferred
Work Schedule:

7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, 13 weeks, every other weekend required, holidays required, no on-call
