POSITION SUMMARY
The Spa Specialists play a crucial role in facilitating a variety of essential Spa operations. These professionals are dedicated to crafting an experience that is both memorable and distinctive, with Spa services as a key component. Spa Specialists proactively deliver a comprehensive range of services to ensure that guests have an enjoyable experience. Responsibilities include promoting Spa services or retail products, managing reservations, confirming appointments, providing information about services, welcoming guests, and processing payments, all while ensuring that transactions enhance the overall experience.
Success in this role hinges on several critical factors: maintaining a safe work environment, adhering to company policies and procedures, upholding quality standards, and presenting a professional appearance and demeanor. Spa Specialists are expected to be active and mobile (standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods; navigating uneven or slippery surfaces), proficiently using reservation software (reading and verifying information), and engaging in hands-on tasks (lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing up to 10 pounds independently and 25 pounds with assistance; reaching overhead and below the knees, including bending and twisting). Performing these duties effectively is essential for Spa Specialists to ensure satisfaction for both guests and the business.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
Related Work Experience: No prior experience required.
Supervisory Experience: Not applicable.
License or Certification: None required.
