Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Route Operations Manager to join our team at Diversified Maintenance Systems. As a key member of our facilities services team, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of our cleaning and maintenance workers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and Coordinate Activities
    • Assign tasks to workers and inspect completed work for conformance to standards.
    • Issue supplies and equipment as needed.
    • Resolve worker issues and refer matters to management as necessary.
  • Requisition and Manage Supplies
    • Procure cleaning supplies and equipment in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Supervisory Responsibilities
    • Directly supervise 2+ employees and carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.
    • Interview, hire, and train employees as needed.
    • Plan, assign, and direct work to ensure efficient and effective operations.
    • Appraise employee performance and provide feedback and coaching as necessary.
    • Address employee complaints and resolve problems in a fair and timely manner.
  • Qualifications
    • High school diploma or equivalent required.
    • 1-3 months of related experience and/or training preferred.
    • Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
