Job Summary

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator plays a vital role in delivering high-quality patient-centered care and coordinating all functions in the unit/department during the designated shift. In collaboration with the leadership team, the CNC directs, monitors, and evaluates nursing care per established policies/procedures, serves as a resource person to staff, and models a commitment to Covenant Health's vision/mission/values to support unparalleled patient experience and clinical outcomes that contribute to the overall departmental performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure delivery of high-quality patient care and coordination of all functions in the unit/department
  • Direct, monitor, and evaluate nursing care per established policies/procedures
  • Serve as a resource person to staff and model a commitment to Covenant Health's vision/mission/values
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to achieve departmental performance goals
Requirements

A bachelor's degree is required or attained within four years. Associate's degree required at time of hire (at a minimum). Current Maine RN license required. National Certification in specialty preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) is required. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification is required within six months of hire - where applicable to the clinical area. PALS as required within six months of hire – where applicable to the clinical area
