About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Welding Inspector to join our team at HRV Conformance Verification Associates, Inc. as a Quality Assurance Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards in welding inspection and quality control.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform inspection of welds in accordance with AWS D1.1 and D1.5 standards
  • Conduct quality control checks to ensure compliance with industry standards
  • Develop and implement quality assurance procedures to improve inspection efficiency
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality-related issues
  • Provide training and guidance to junior inspectors on quality control procedures
Requirements
  • Valid AWS CWI certification or equivalent experience
  • NDE Level II in UT
  • Demonstrated experience in quality inspection of welds
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to climb, balance, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, grasp, talk, hear, and stand for extended periods
  • Exert up to 20 lbs. occasionally and up to 10 lbs. frequently
  • Visual acuity requirements include color and depth perception, and field of vision
