We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Principal Power Engineer to join our AI Infrastructure Team in Austin, Texas, Santa Clara, California, or Hopkinton, Massachusetts.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to lead the development of next-generation large-scale AI Infrastructure with a focus on leading power systems, power supplies, transformers, power distribution units, bus systems, and backup supplies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with high-profile AI customers to optimize solutions for their applications.
  • Work closely with suppliers, CTO organization, and hardware engineering to enable the Power technologies supply base to move at scale.
  • Partner with Procurement and Operations to lead longer-term supplier and category strategies.
  • Lead critical industry relationships with the supply base to develop advanced networking technologies for AI solutions.
  • Help develop business cases for future product strategies and position the supply base for working in the Dell supply chain at scale.
Requirements
  • Senior-level experience in technical design with data center power solutions.
  • Deep industry and supplier knowledge, particularly in product development and engineering.
  • Strong relationships with the supply base and the ability to build long-term technical engagement strategies.
  • Expertise in power-based data center solutions.
What We Offer

Dell Technologies is committed to Fair and Equitable compensation practices. The Base Salary Range for this role is $192,000 - $286,000.
