About the Position

We are seeking a Recreation Therapist to join our team at the Oklahoma Forensic Center. As a Recreation Therapist, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and directing client therapy programs, as well as instructing or supervising clients in an inpatient behavioral health facility.

Job Responsibilities
  • Plan and implement client therapy programs
  • Direct and conduct client therapy sessions
  • Instruct or supervise clients in recreational activities
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need a Master's degree in recreational therapy, outdoor recreation, or physical education, or a bachelor's degree in a related field with one year of experience in recreational therapy. You must also be able to pass an OSBI background check and have a valid driver's license.
