We are seeking a highly skilled Behavior Technician to join our team at A Bridge to Achievement. As a Behavioral Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

Our expert team of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and highly trained behavior technicians use evidence-based ABA methods to teach children social, communication, play, cognitive, and self-care skills, while reducing problem behaviors in a variety of settings based on the family needs.

We partner with parents to understand their children by identifying their strengths, interests, and learning styles. Using ABA and other evidence-based techniques, our highly-trained clinicians focus on therapies and interventions that use positive reinforcement to teach the children we support to reach their full potential.

We then integrate our services in a variety of settings striving to create the most effective learning experience and promote positive change across all aspects of the lives of the children we serve and their families.

Our unique organizational approach allows new and seasoned behavioral technicians alike the opportunity to explore and implement ABA techniques to help guide their desired career path.

ABtA provides comprehensive training in a variety of ABA strategies such as Discrete Trial Training, Verbal Behavior, Natural Environment Teaching, and Behavior Modification programming.

Responsibilities include:

  • Implement individualized Behavior Intervention Plans that target the reduction of challenging behaviors
  • Provide consistent and reliable 1:1 ABA therapy for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder based upon evidence-based strategies
  • Collect, record and maintain clinical data for all clients in CentralReach practice management system
  • Assist with the preparation and organization of program materials/supplies

Requirements include:

  • Experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder or individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
  • Ability to pass a background and healthcare registry check
  • Completed RBT certification preferred, but PAID RBT training available for those without the certification

We also provide paid RBT certification program for new behavior technicians in the field, including application and exam cost reimbursement. Additionally, we offer highly-structured and supportive trainee program with paid unrestricted opportunities and mentorship from a dedicated supervisor. Opportunities for career advancement are also available for both RBTs and BCBA trainees.
