Postpartum Nurse Specialist

Responsibilities:
* Monitor vital signs of the mother and newborn
* Continuously assess the mother and newborn for signs of complications
* Provide education to new parents on how to care for their newborns
* Assist mothers with establishing a breastfeeding relationship
* Work collaboratively with doctors and other nursing staff to ensure the plan of care is being followed
Requirements:
* RN license in good standing
* Minimum one year recent experience in Postpartum in a hospital setting
* Active AHA BLS, ACLS, NRP Certification required
