Job Summary

Cynet Health is seeking a skilled Postpartum Nurse Specialist to join our team. As a Postpartum Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to new mothers and their babies in a hospital setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor Vital Signs: Continuously monitor the vital signs of new mothers and their babies, including temperature, blood pressure, and heart rate.
  • Assess for Complications: Assess new mothers and their babies for signs of complications such as postpartum hemorrhage, postpartum depression, or failure to thrive.
  • Bathing and Hygiene: Bathe newborn infants and ensure their hygiene needs are met.
  • Medication Administration: Administer antibiotics and/or pain medication as needed to new mothers and their babies.
  • Education and Support: Educate new parents on how to care for their newborns after they leave the hospital, including breastfeeding and newborn care.
  • Collaboration with Healthcare Team: Work closely with doctors and other nursing staff to ensure that the plan of care is being followed.
Requirements
  • RN License: Current RN license in good standing.
  • Experience: Minimum one year recent experience in Postpartum in a hospital setting.
  • Certifications: Active AHA BLS, ACLS, NRP Certification required.
