Active Supervision for Child Safety:

At Head Start, Inc., we prioritize the safety of children through Active Supervision, ensuring that no child is left unattended. Any incidents of unsupervised children must be reported immediately.

All staff members are accountable for the safety of children in our care. Active Supervision involves constant attention and intentional observation of children in various settings, ensuring their well-being through proactive engagement and redirection as needed.

Qualifications:

A High School Diploma or GED/equivalent is required, along with a minimum of six months' experience in a large-scale food service environment preferred.

Physical Requirements:

This role requires the ability to perform essential functions, including standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 pounds regularly, with occasional lifting of up to 75 pounds. Vision capabilities must include close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment:

The work environment is a bustling kitchen setting, where employees may encounter kitchen chemicals, humidity, hot surfaces, sharp tools, and moderate to loud noise levels.
