About the Role:

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Wexford Health Sources plays a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care in our correctional healthcare settings. As a member of our nursing team, you will be responsible for assisting in the delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning and implementing individual treatment programs, utilizing available resources and consulting with registered nurses, physicians, and correctional officers.
  • Implement medical plans through administering medications and interventions in accordance with provider instructions.
  • Document nursing encounters, patient response, effectiveness, complications, etc.
  • Collaborate with the nursing care and treatment team to provide comprehensive care.

Requirements:

  • Current, unrestricted Virginia Registered Nursing License
  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
  • Minimum of one year of clinical nursing experience
