Job Summary:

The University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry is seeking a full-time academic faculty member at the Assistant Professor level, with a dual appointment in the Pediatric Infectious Diseases Division.

Clinical responsibilities include adult and pediatric Infectious Diseases consultation and teaching in inpatient and outpatient settings at Strong Memorial Hospital and UR Medicine affiliates.

This position will also involve telemedicine for acute inpatient care at affiliate hospitals or other remote hospitals.

Qualifications:

  • Completed fellowship training in Infectious Diseases
  • M.D. Degree or equivalent
  • New York State Medical License prior to start date
  • Eligible for a Faculty Appointment at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry
  • Meet all credentialing requirements
  • Eligible for Board Certification in Infectious Diseases
