Strategic Leader for Advancement and Philanthropy

St. Catherine University is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Strategic Leader for Advancement and Philanthropy to lead the Institutional Advancement division. Reporting directly to the President, this individual will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive fundraising strategies to support the university's mission and goals.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing large-scale fundraising initiatives and a deep understanding of the philanthropic landscape in the Twin Cities. With a strong history of generous philanthropic support from alumni, friends, the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet, foundations, and corporations, this role presents a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the university's advancement efforts.
The Strategic Leader for Advancement and Philanthropy will oversee all internal and external relationships that contribute to the university's growth and success. This includes fundraising initiatives, grant writing, alumni relations, internal and external communication functions, university events, and the O'Shaughnessy Performing Arts Center. The successful candidate will be a hands-on leader capable of building and developing a strong team and being directly involved in day-to-day operations.

As a member of the university community, the Strategic Leader for Advancement and Philanthropy will be part of a vibrant and inclusive environment that values cultural diversity, multicultural understanding, and cultural fluency. The university offers a comprehensive benefits package, including three weeks of accrued vacation time, fourteen paid holidays, paid sick time, free tuition for employees and reduced tuition for their families after one year of service, health, dental, and vision insurance, 403b retirement plan access, and six weeks of paid parental leave after one year of service.
