Job Summary

We are seeking a senior-level electrical engineer to join our Energy & Power Solutions team at Jacobs. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading electrical engineering teams to provide advisory services and engineering design solutions for clients across various market sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead electrical engineering teams to deliver innovative solutions for clients
  • Collaborate with Client Account Managers and sales professionals on strategic pursuits
  • Develop and implement business growth strategies, including exploration and development of new project opportunities
  • Engage with clients to develop relationships and win work
  • Mentor and develop junior technical staff
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Advanced Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Power Engineering, or related engineering discipline
  • At least 10 years of engineering design and/or consulting experience
  • Professional Engineering licensure (any US state) or ability to gain licensure within 1 year
  • Proven ability to engage with clients, develop relationships, and win work
  • Experience with proposal development and project execution planning
  • Strong communication and technical writing skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with power distribution systems and microgrids
  • Power generation projects exceeding 10MW capacity
  • HV or MV Substations
  • Renewable energy projects, including wind, solar, hydro, geothermal, and other technologies
  • Energy storage systems
  • Power system modeling experience using SKM Power Tools, ETAP, or similar modeling software
