Party Chief Job Description

As a key member of our team at American Eagle Distributing Company, the Party Chief plays a vital role in ensuring the success of our construction projects. This position requires strong leadership and technical skills to lead a team of surveyors in collecting accurate measurements and data.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team conducting field layout and full range of as-builts.
  • Coordinate daily activities with field Superintendents and Foremen.
  • Assign and monitor work for survey crew members.
  • Manage the use and maintenance of survey equipment to ensure it is in proper working condition.
  • Ensure accurate collection and recording of field survey data.
  • Maintain accurate field notes and survey records.
  • Adhere to company safety guidelines and regulations.
  • Oversee maintenance, inventory, and protection of company vehicles and survey equipment.
  • Train crew members as needed.
Requirements:
  • Ability to assign, prioritize, and delegate work.
  • Read and interpret civil engineering plans.
  • Collect, calculate, and analyze survey data.
  • Travel to work at different job sites as required.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with company employees and other contractor representatives.
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to deliver high-quality surveying.
