Coatings Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Coatings Specialist to join our team at Express Employment in Sidney, OH. This role is responsible for setting up and preparing powder coating equipment, applying powder coating to meet manufacturer and customer specifications, and interpreting setup sheets and following detailed work instructions.

• Set up and prepare powder coating equipment to ensure efficient production.
• Apply powder coating to parts, adhering to manufacturer and customer specifications.
• Interpret setup sheets and follow detailed work instructions to achieve quality results.
• Hang, package, and mask parts (plugging and capping) to prevent damage and contamination.
• Load and unload parts from the conveyor line, maintaining a safe and organized workspace.
• Operate hand tools effectively to complete tasks efficiently.
• Cross-train in additional job functions as needed to support team goals.

• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, demonstrating a strong foundation in education.
• The ability to lift up to 50 lbs is essential for this physically demanding role.
• A willingness to work overtime when required is necessary to meet production demands.
