Job Title: Litigation Paralegal

Farah & Farah, P.A. is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Litigation Paralegal to join our team. As a key member of our litigation team, you will play a critical role in supporting our attorneys in the preparation and presentation of cases.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough investigations, research, and case assessments to support the litigation process.
  • Draft and file pleadings, motions, and appellate documents with the court.
  • Perform administrative duties, including calendar management, case file organization, and logistics coordination.
  • Assist with the preparation of federal and state administrative filings.
  • Maintain accurate records of pleadings and discovery indexes.
  • Organize exhibits, documents, evidence, briefs, and appendices for trial and arbitration preparation.
  • Support attorneys with interrogatories and other discovery requests.
  • Gather relevant information from various sources, including Lexis and Westlaw research.
  • Liaise with trial teams and internal/external stakeholders.
  • Assist with voir-dire, jury selection, and witness preparation.
  • Support case settlements and address client inquiries regarding case status.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and expectations.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience as a Litigation Paralegal in Personal Injury law.
  • Experience working with federal/state court litigation cases from onset to trial phase.
  • Familiarity with federal and state court procedures, motions, discovery, evidence, and litigation documentation.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and ability to work with legal technology.
  • Knowledge of federal filing systems and case management software.
  • Strong sense of confidentiality and ability to exercise sound judgment.
  • Ability to work under pressure/deadlines and perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Outstanding time-management and typing skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously while highly focused and detailed-oriented.
  • Professional presentation in attire, demeanor, and appearance.
  • Paralegal associate degree or other relevant certification preferred.

Work Schedule:
  • 8-hour shift: 8am-5pm, 8:30am-5:30pm, or 9am-6pm.
  • Monday to Friday.
  • Onsite professional office setting.
