The Role

This part-time, permanent position as a Customer Service Associate - Warehouse Operations requires an individual with excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will be responsible for ensuring shipments comply with customs laws and regulations.

You will work closely with your teammates to identify more efficient ways of processing shipments, managing inventory, and providing exceptional customer service. This role involves a range of tasks, including receiving and sorting inventory, picking and packing orders, loading and unloading skids on/off trucks, and maintaining a clean and tidy warehouse and branch.

In addition to these responsibilities, you will be required to greet customers, represent the Chit Chats brand, and provide consultative services to our clients. If you have a passion for serving people and are looking for a challenging and rewarding role, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities
  • Process shipments meticulously to ensure compliance with customs laws and regulations
  • Conduct spot checks when necessary to maintain accuracy and quality
  • Loading and unloading skids on/off trucks using a pallet jack
  • Receiving and sorting inventory in a timely manner
  • Pick and pack orders with high levels of accuracy and efficiency
  • Maintain a clean and tidy warehouse and branch, adhering to safety guidelines and protocols
  • Greet customers while representing the Chit Chats brand and values
  • Provide consultative services to our clients, offering product and service recommendations
  • Keep the team up to date on skids left behind or any process updates via Basecamp pings and to-dos
Requirements
  • Available to work Monday to Friday, 11am to 11pm, with shift timings based on actual schedules
  • Weekend shifts may be assigned
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Standing and lifting are required as part of the job
  • Previous retail, warehouse, and shipping experience is considered an asset
  • Computer literacy in Microsoft Office applications, comfortable with learning new programs
  • Trustworthy, reliable, full of heart, with a positive outlook on life
