Job Overview:- Oversee payroll operations for both unionized and non-unionized personnel
- Guarantee accurate and prompt processing of payroll transactions
- Respond to payroll-related inquiries from staff members
- Ensure compliance with payroll legislation and regulations
- Collaborate with HR, finance, and operational teams
- Establish and assess payroll processing systems
- Maintain precise payroll documentation and reports
- Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local payroll regulations
- Coordinate with HR regarding employee benefits deductions
- Conduct regular audits to ensure payroll accuracy
- Identify and propose enhancements to payroll systems
- Comprehensive knowledge of payroll processes and taxation
- Strong analytical and organizational abilities
- Prior experience in payroll for the construction industry is advantageous
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with payroll software such as Exaktime and Foundation Software
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline
- A minimum of three to five years of experience in a relevant field
